The Hanna Golden Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Rivera Raiders to 59 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weslaco for a 6A Region IV District 32 contest on Friday, January 29. Hanna will battle a Panthers team coming off a 73-66 league win over Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.

The Raiders (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Greyhounds enter the 6A Region IV District 32 contest with a 3-17 record.
