In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) basketball squad beat the visiting Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), by a margin of 80-64.

The Pirates (5-13) will now prepare for their outing against Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Citrus defeated South Sumter (Bushnell, FL), 55-52, in a non-league outing.

The Leopards now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Hudson for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 27. Hernando will clash with a Cobras squad coming off a 57-55 non-league win over Fivay (Hudson, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 8-10.
