In Tuesday's league match, the host Spring Lions basketball team scored a good 61-42 triumph over the Eisenhower Eagles.

In their next game, the Lions face the Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 match, on Friday, January 28. Spring will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 3-17 record after their 51-48 league loss to Aldine (Houston, TX).
