The Richland Springs Coyotes basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Lometa Hornets to 25 in the Coyotes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Coyotes now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee for a 1A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 28.

The Hornets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Mustangs enter the 1A Region III District 17 contest with a 0-13 record.
