In Wednesday's league outing, the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), by a count of 59-38.

The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, La Plata was crushed by Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 67-65, in a league outing.
