January 25, 2025: Underwood, IA 51576 The Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) basketball were winner over the visiting Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA), 58-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host IKM/Manning for a Western Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 28. Underwood will play a Wolves team coming off a 58-52 league win over Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Harlan falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to play the Monarchs in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 0-12. Denison-Schleswig lost 58-46 in their recent league bout against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA)
