With the victory, Union County advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Connersville (Connersville, IN) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 14-7. Connersville won 44-31 in their recent league match against Rushville (Rushville, IN)

The Golden Bears now own a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delta for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Monroe Central will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 55-54 league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
