The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) and the visiting Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA), observed River Valley's basketball team overwhelm Richland by a score of 53-26.

The Panthers (19-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Red Dragons come into the Heritage challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Purchase Line was routed by Marion Center (Marion Center, PA), 55-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Monday, January 27. Richland will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 69-45 league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA).
