Louisiana High School Basketball - Wossman nips Carroll
January 26, 2021: Monroe, LA 71202 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), saw Wossman's basketball squad hold off Carroll by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Wossman improves its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Union Parish (Farmerville, LA) to play the Farmers in a 3A District 2 challenge on Friday, January 29. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Union Parish won 55-40 in their recent league challenge against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 29. Carroll will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 59-48 non-league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, LA).
