In Thursday's league outing, the Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), by a margin of 50-46.

The Golden Bears (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN). The Golden Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Winchester Community held off Northeastern (Fountain City, IN), 62-55, in a league outing.
