North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Day tops Charlotte Latin
January 26, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28277 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) and the host Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC), saw Providence Day's basketball squad knock off Charlotte Latin by a count of 45-33.
With the victory, Providence Day upgrades its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Chargers host Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Davidson Day won 63-22 in their recent league challenge against University Christian (Hickory, NC)
Next up, the Hawks play the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Charlotte Latin will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 51-43 non-league win over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA).
