The Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) basketball felled the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 54-38 in Friday's league test.

The Vikings (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Canyon Springs thwarted Green Valley (Henderson, NV), 60-34, in a non-league test.
