Texas High School Basketball - La Vega crushes Robinson
January 26, 2024: Robinson, TX 76706 La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), 105-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, La Vega upgrades its record to 25-8 on the campaign. The Pirates host China Spring (China Spring, TX) to play the Cougars in a 4A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 8-22. China Spring lost 44-42 in their recent league bout against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX)
Next up, the Rockets play the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 11-18 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 17-12 record after their 38-33 league win over Connally (Waco, TX).
