January 26, 2024: Madill, OK 73446 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lone Grove Longhorns (Lone Grove, OK) and the host Madill Wildcats (Madill, OK), saw Lone Grove's basketball squad knock off Madill by a count of 52-32.
With the victory, Lone Grove upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Byng (Ada, OK) to play the Pirates in a Lake Country challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Byng won 60-49 in their recent league challenge against Dickson (Ardmore, OK)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) in a Lake Country challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Madill will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 60-49 league loss to Byng (Ada, OK).
