January 27, 2021: Teachey, NC 28464 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), by a margin of 72-50.
The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Dark Horses go into the East Central 2A outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Clinton smashed Midway (Dunn, NC), 46-44, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cleveland for a Greater Neuse 3A outing on Friday, January 29. West Johnston will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 60-52 league win over Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-1.
