Indiana High School Basketball - Morgan Township fells Hanover Central

Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), 45-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morgan Township upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Cherokees host South Central (Union Mills, IN) to play the Satellites in a Porter County bout on Thursday, February 2. The Satellites go into the bout with a record of 4-11. South Central lost 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) in a Greater South Shore bout, on Saturday, January 28. Hanover Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 76-43 non-league loss to Gary West Side (Gary, IN).
