January 27, 2023: Byesville, OH 43723 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH) and the host Meadowbrook Colts (Byesville, OH), saw New Lexington's basketball squad wallop Meadowbrook by a tally of 65-29.
With the victory, New Lexington improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Crooksville (Crooksville, OH) to confront the Ceramics in a Muskingum Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Ceramics come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Crooksville lost 41-38 in their recent league challenge against West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH)
Next up, the Colts confront the Coshocton Redskins (Coshocton, OH) in a Muskingum Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Meadowbrook will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 60-42 non-league loss to Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH).
