The Myrtle Hawks basketball team (Myrtle, MS), was nudged 38-36 in Saturday's league battle with the host Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS)

The Blue Devils now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Strayhorn for a non-league battle on Monday, January 29. Ashland will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-13 league loss to Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-11.
