The Willow Canyon Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Ironwood Eagles to 37 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a 5A Northwest Valley game on Wednesday, January 29. Willow Canyon will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 46-32 league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Ironwood falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to confront the Cougars in a 5A Northwest Valley game on Wednesday, January 29. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 17-2. Kellis won 69-53 in their recent league game against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ)
