Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA) and the visiting Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA), saw Greenforest's basketball squad hold off Northside by a tally of 79-72.

With the victory, Greenforest improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Cavaliers in a A D2 Region 7A challenge on Monday, January 30. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Atlanta Classical Academy lost 71-49 in their recent non-league challenge against W D Mohammed (Atlanta, GA)
