Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host The Gregory School Hawks (Tucson, AZ), 38-31 in a league contest.

The Warriors (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lourdes Catholic (Nogales, AZ). The Warriors go into the 1A South game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Lourdes Catholic was edged by Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ), 62-7, in a non-league game.

With the loss, The Gregory School falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to North Valley Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league outing on Thursday, January 29. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 6-14. North Valley Christian Academy won 57-51 in their recent league outing against Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ)
