Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County victorious over Oasis Academy

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored a good 39-23 triumph over the Oasis Academy Bighorns.

The Mustangs (20-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Lakers go into the 2A Northern contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, North Tahoe topped Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV), 49-12, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bighorns confront the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Friday, January 30. Oasis Academy will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 14-8 record after their 44-18 league win over Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV).
