The Weskan Coyotes (Weskan, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Hi-Plains Patriots (Seibert, CO), 43-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Coyotes (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Logan/Palco (Logan, KS). The go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Logan/Palco was tipped by Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS), 58-55, in a league test.
