Mississippi High School Basketball - West Lowndes overwhelms French Camp Academy
January 29, 2021: French Camp, MS 39745 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS) and the host French Camp Academy Panthers (French Camp, MS), saw West Lowndes's basketball squad wallop French Camp Academy by a tally of 54-23.
With the victory, West Lowndes improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Ethel (Ethel, MS) to confront the Tigers in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Nanih Waiya Warriors (Louisville, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 5. French Camp Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 75-48 league win over Noxapater (Noxapater, MS).
