In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Purdue Poly Techies (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 94-51.

The Fighting Irish (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN). The Highlanders go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record.

The Techies now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Indianapolis Washington for a Greater Indianapolis outing on Tuesday, February 1. Purdue Poly will clash with a Continentals squad coming off a 58-48 league win over Indiana Math & Science Academy North (Indianapolis, IN). The Continentals record now stands at 12-5.
