In Saturday's league outing, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 66-61.

The Cardinals (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats go into the 1A Conference 38 outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Sugar Creek got by Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC), 81-55, in a league outing.
