Washington High School Basketball - Nathan Hale can't hold off Franklin Pierce
January 29, 2022: Tacoma, WA 98445 The Franklin Pierce Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Nathan Hale Raiders to 51 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clover Park for a 2A South Puget Sound contest on Tuesday, February 1. Franklin Pierce will battle a Warriors team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Foss (Tacoma, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
The Raiders (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Seattle, WA). The Roughriders come into the 3A Metro contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was nudged by Ballard (Seattle, WA), 44-38, in a league contest.
