The Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Frankton Eagles (Frankton, IN), 54-50 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Elwood (Elwood, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-13 record.

The Eagles now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Muncie Burris for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 1. Frankton will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 76-50 non-league loss to South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN). The Owls record now stands at 2-9.
