New Jersey High School Basketball - Koinonia Academy tops Governor Livingston
January 29, 2022: Plainfield, NJ 07060 Koinonia Academy (Plainfield, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ), 62-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Koinonia Academy upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The travel to Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 18. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-7.
Next up, the Highlanders play the North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Governor Livingston will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Canucks come into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 57-52 league loss to Somerville (Somerville, NJ).
