Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Monarch holds off Chaparral
January 29, 2022: Parker, CO 80134 The Monarch Coyotes edged the host Chaparral Wolverines ice hockey squad by a count of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Monarch moves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO) to confront the Cougars in a 5A North bout on Monday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-6.
The Wolverines now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis-Palmer for a 5A South bout on Thursday, February 3. Chaparral will confront a Rangers squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Rangers record now stands at 6-3.
