In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Walden Grove Red Wolves basketball team scored a close 55-52 triumph over the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks.

The Red Wolves (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 7-16 record. In their last contest, Pueblo was tipped by Nogales (Nogales, AZ), 80-59, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Nighthawks battle the Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Kino contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record.
