Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), 63-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lake Central advances its record to 16-7 on the year. The Indians host Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN) to meet the Senators in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Senators enter the match with a record of 11-9. Washington Township won 52-30 in their recent non-league match against LaVille (Lakeville, IN)
