The Valley Vikings defeated the visiting Del Sol Dragons basketball squad by a final score of 71-57 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Lake outing, on Monday, February 2. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 57-48 league loss to Rancho (Las Vegas, NV).

With the loss, Del Sol falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 30.
