In Thursday's league contest, the host Tri-County Cavaliers basketball team scored a close 44-38 win over the Faith Christian Eagles.

The Cavaliers (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Central (Francesville, IN). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, West Central was nudged by Culver Community (Culver, IN), 39-25, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette Central Catholic for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 4. Faith Christian will face a Knights squad coming off a 70-42 non-league loss to Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Knights record now stands at 9-14.
