California High School Basketball - Foothill Tech tipped by Santa Ynez
January 3, 2022: Ventura, CA 93003 The Santa Ynez Pirates basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Foothill Tech Dragons to 36 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cabrillo for a Channel contest on Tuesday, January 4. Santa Ynez will meet a Conquistadores team coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA). The Conquistadores record now stands at 5-5.
The Dragons (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Providence (Santa Barbara, CA). The Patriots enter the Frontier contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Providence was nudged by Dunn (Los Olivos, CA), 73-20, in a non-league contest.
