Maryland High School Basketball - Fort Hill overwhelms Boonsboro
January 3, 2023: Cumberland, MD 21502 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the visiting Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD), saw Fort Hill's basketball squad wallop Boonsboro by a tally of 70-40.
With the victory, Fort Hill improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD) to confront the Miners in a Appalachian challenge on Friday, January 6. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Mountain Ridge won 66-64 in their recent league challenge against Southern (Oakland, MD)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Friday, January 6. Boonsboro will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD).
