Nevada High School Basketball - Coronado overwhelms Rancho

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) and the visiting Rancho Rams (Las Vegas, NV), saw Coronado's basketball squad wallop Rancho by a count of 77-22.

With the victory, Coronado upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Diamondbacks in a 5A Southern challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Diamondbacks come into the challenge with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Rams play the Bonanza Bengals (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Desert challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 38-34 league loss to Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV).
