The Hoggard Vikings basketball team scored 70 points and held the host North Brunswick Scorpions to 16 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashley for a 3A/4A Conference 20 contest on Friday, January 6. Hoggard will battle a Screaming Eagle team coming off a 57-11 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 8-2.

The Scorpions (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the 3A/4A Conference 20 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, West Brunswick was routed by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 60-36, in a league contest.
