Nevada High School Basketball - Sierra Lutheran toppled by Pershing County

Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), 43-32 in a league match.

With the victory, Pershing County upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to face the Buckaroos in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 6. The Buckaroos enter the match with a record of 4-8.

The Falcons now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Tahoe for a 2A Northern match on Saturday, January 10. Sierra Lutheran will face a Lakers squad coming off a 64-24 league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 3-9.
