The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host River Forest Ingots to 55 in the Fighting Eagles league victory on Saturday.

The Fighting Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kouts for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 4. Lake Station Edison will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 87-60 league win over Westville (Westville, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-2.

The Ingots (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond Clark (Whiting, IN). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
