Connecticut High School Basketball - Abbott RVT tops Classical Magnet
January 30, 2023: Danbury, CT 06811 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) and the visiting Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT), saw Abbott RVT's basketball squad knock off Classical Magnet by a count of 67-54.
With the victory, Abbott RVT upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT) to play the Panthers in a Connecticut Technical - West challenge on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Kaynor Tech lost 58-47 in their recent league challenge against Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT)
Next up, the Gladiators play the Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Classical Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 60-54 league win over University (Hartford, CT).
