Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC) and the visiting Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC), saw Hobgood Charter's basketball squad wallop Cape Hatteras by a tally of 84-50.

With the victory, Hobgood Charter improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC) to confront the Lakers in a 1A Atlantic 5 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Mattamuskeet lost 74-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC)

Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) in a 1A Atlantic 5 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Cape Hatteras will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record.
