January 30, 2024: Independence, OH 44131 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) and the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH), saw Independence's basketball squad wallop Wickliffe by a count of 71-27.
With the victory, Independence upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Fairview (Fairview Park, OH) to play the Warriors in a Chagrin Valley - Metro challenge on Friday, February 2. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Fairview lost 82-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge, on Friday, February 2. Wickliffe will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 41-33 non-league loss to Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH).
