Iowa High School Basketball - Lisbon overwhelms North Cedar
January 30, 2024: Lisbon, IA 52253 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) and the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), saw Lisbon's basketball squad wallop North Cedar by a tally of 66-38.
With the victory, Lisbon improves its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Lions host Starmont (Arlington, IA) to confront the Stars in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 1-19. Starmont lost 57-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Elkader, IA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. North Cedar will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 60-34 non-league win over Wilton (Wilton, IA).
