Arizona High School Basketball - Salpointe Catholic sneaks past Mica Mountain

The Salpointe Catholic Lancers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts to 58 in the Lancers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lancers now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Salpointe Catholic will play a Saints team coming off a 75-37 league win over Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Mica Mountain falls to 12-9 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ) to play the Colts in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Colts go into the game with a record of 15-5. Buena lost 66-58 in their recent league game against Cienega (Vail, AZ)
