South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), 48-35 in a league match.

With the victory, South Johnston advances its record to 8-9 on the year. The Trojans host C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to face the Golden Falcons in a 3A Quad County match on Friday, January 31. The Golden Falcons enter the match with a record of 9-9. C.B. Aycock lost 66-62 in their recent league match against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC)
