Lake Worth Christian Defenders (Boynton Beach, FL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Marathon Dolphins (Marathon, FL), 46-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lake Worth Christian advances its record to 15-9 on the year.

The Dolphins now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pahokee for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 3. Marathon will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 63-44 non-league loss to Royal Palm Beach (Royal Palm Beach, FL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-12.
