The San Manuel Miners basketball squad (San Manuel, AZ), was nudged 43-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Patagonia Lobos (Patagonia, AZ)

With the victory, Patagonia advances its record to 12-13 on the year. The Lobos travel to Lourdes Catholic (Nogales, AZ) to meet the Warriors in a 1A South battle on Monday, February 2. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 6-8. Lourdes Catholic lost 80-60 in their recent league battle against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ)
