The Cowan Blackhawks basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Wes-Del Warriors to 18 in the Blackhawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blackhawks now have a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Wells for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 4. Cowan will confront a Raiders team coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Muncie Central (Muncie, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Wes-Del falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Southwood (Wabash, IN) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 4. The Knights go into the game with a record of 12-8. Southwood won 50-21 in their recent league bout against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN)
