Arizona High School Basketball - Sunrise Mountain knocked off by Horizon

In Friday's non-league test, the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball squad knocked off the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ), by a score of 45-35.

Next, the Huskies play the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A East Sky test, on Tuesday, February 3. Horizon will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Firebirds come into the test with a 11-9 record after their 66-30 league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ).

The Mustangs now own a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a 5A Northwest Valley battle on Tuesday, February 3. Sunrise Mountain will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 43-41 league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 9-13.
